Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has described the 2026 Budget as a turning level in Ghana’s financial adventure.

Presenting the price range in Parliament on Thursday, Dr Forson mentioned, “Mr. Speaker, the 2026 Budget marks a decisive shift from recovery to transformation—from resilience to productivity, and from stability to jobs.”

Dr. Forson mentioned the federal government’s focal point over the following 12 months and past will relaxation on 3 priorities: consolidating macroeconomic balance, accelerating financial transformation and process advent, and strengthening safety and the social advancement to advertise inclusive revenue.

He reaffirmed the federal government’s imaginative and prescient of “a Ghana that produces more than it consumes, exports value-added goods rather than raw materials, and creates decent jobs with rising incomes and shared opportunities for all.”

“Mr. Speaker, that is the Ghana we are building — a nation powered by discipline, driven by vision, and anchored on shared prosperity,” Dr. Forson added.
