The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has prolonged heartfelt greetings and best possible needs to Muslims in Ghana and internationally as they start the holy month of Ramadan.

In a remark dated February 19, the birthday party congratulated the Muslim Ummah at the starting of the sacred duration of fasting, prayer and religious mirrored image.

Describing Ramadan as a time of “fasting, prayer, reflection, sacrifice and renewed devotion to Allah,” the NDC mentioned the holy month embodies values which are important to nationwide earnings.

“It is also a time that reminds us of the enduring values of compassion, humility, generosity, discipline, and peaceful coexistence — virtues that are essential to national unity and development,” the remark emphasized.

The birthday party stated what it described as the numerous contributions of the Muslim group to Ghana’s democratic adventure, social concord and financial scaling.

“The NDC acknowledges and deeply appreciates the significant contributions of the Muslim community to Ghana’s democratic journey, social cohesion, and economic growth,” the remark mentioned, including that prayers for peace and steadiness stay priceless to the country’s innovation.

Encouraging Muslims to stay steadfast all the way through the fasting duration, the NDC prayed for divine energy and blessings for the Ummah.

“As you embark on this spiritual journey, we pray that Allah grants you strength, good health, and abundant blessings. May this holy month renew our collective commitment to justice, inclusiveness, and the building of a more united and compassionate Ghana,” it famous.

Signed via the birthday party’s General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the remark reaffirmed the NDC’s dedication to selling equality and alternative for all voters.

“The NDC remains steadfast in its commitment to championing policies and programmes that promote equality, opportunity, and improved livelihoods for all, regardless of religious or ethnic background,” it said, wishing all the Muslim Ummah a calm and rewarding Ramadan.
