✨ Latest News: Oil earnings: Nothing flawed with Tinubu’s order – Chairman State Finance Commissioners

📰 Check out the main points:

Chairman of the Forum of State Commissioners for Finance, Akintunde Oyebode, says there may be not anything flawed with the directive of President Bola Tinubu on oil earnings remittance.

Oyebode said this on Tuesday on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’.

DAILY POST had reported that President Tinubu signed an Executive Order, EO, to safeguard and beef up oil and fuel revenues for the Federation.

The Order may be to curb wasteful spending, do away with duplicative constructions within the strategy and redirect sources for the good thing about the Nigerian folks.

Speaking at the growth milestone, Oyebode stated, “I don’t see any negatives with Tinubu’s directive.

“The oil and fuel funding on this nation has observed important upside within the final two years. We’re speaking $10 billion of recent investments, together with Bonga, Bonga North, which has long gone thru Fund for Innovation in Development.

“I believe it’s a good time for the funding as an entire. Presidential directives, some codified as a part of the National Tax Act, were important, together with shortened contracting classes.

“The overall macro environment, with increased foreign exchange liquidity and growth stability, improves the investor environment. I don’t see any negative impact on the investment climate.”
