A 43-year-old farmer has been remanded into jail custody via the Asante Abuakwa circuit courtroom within the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality for raping a hearing-impaired lady in a bush. 

Abdulai Yussif pleaded now not in charge to the fee of rape and shall be introduced earlier than the courtroom, presided over via Rosemond Dodua Agyiri, on December 11, this 12 months. 

Police Detective Chief Inspector Samuel Kyei Baffour, prosecuting, informed the courtroom that Yaa Agbavaon, the 40-year-old sufferer, lived together with her grandmother at Afreseni close to Mankranso, within the Ahafo Ano South-West District. 

He stated, on July 14, this 12 months, at about 10 am, the sufferer used to be on her solution to her grandmother’s farm and at a piece of the trail, she spotted that the accused individual used to be in the back of her. 

She stopped and lead the way for the accused individual, however he all at once grabbed her hand, dragged her into the bush, forcibly undressed her and had intercourse together with her.
