The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has introduced the brief suspension of the recruitment workout in Greater Accra following the tragic stampede on the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, which left six candidates lifeless and several other others injured.

In a commentary issued on Wednesday, GAF mentioned that the suspension will permit for the implementation of extra measures to make sure the protection and clean behavior of the workout.

“A Board of Inquiry has been constituted to get to the bottom of the cases that ended in the unlucky incident,” the commentary learn.

However, GAF famous that the recruitment procedure within the different 15 areas of the rustic will proceed as scheduled.
