Ghanaian journalist Ernest Dela Aglanu has gained the highest award on the inaugural Global South Video News Awards in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Dela Aglanu’s impactful visible storytelling earned him the distinguished Vital Footage Award, making him the only African winner on the rite.
