Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator Alhaji Muniru Mohammed Limuna, NDC Vice-Chairman Samuel Sarpong, former parliamentary candidate Samuel Aboagye, and three devoted navy officers: Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.

These had been devoted males of purpose and undoubtedly of distinction, males whose contributions to nationwide supervision, peace and safety had been self-evident of their earnings. Their sudden loss is a profound tragedy that has touched GOIL PLC and every Ghanaian.
