The North Central Zonal Working and Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has raised alarm over what it described as an unfolding ‘political coup’ inside the celebration.

The zonal committee raised this considerations right through an emergency assembly of leaders held in Abuja on Tuesday, to check the rising pressure caused by means of the October 31 judgment of Justice Omotosho of the Federal High Court, a ruling that has reignited factional battles inside the primary opposition celebration.
